Welcome to Mind Matters!
I’m so glad you're here. As a dedicated mental health professional, I combine my education and training with a true passion for supporting others on their journey to healing. Together, we'll create a personalized path toward your well-being—one that is thorough, meaningful, and even enjoyable. My trauma-focused, client-centered approach is designed to empower you with the tools and insights you need, all within a supportive and innovative environment. Seeking help is a courageous step, and I commend you for taking it. Remember, you are worth every moment of this journey. Let’s begin this path toward healing together.
I specialize in treating:
-

Trauma/PTSD
A traumatic event is not the problem. The issues are more about the brain’s information processing of the event. Trauma can have long lasting effects on all aspects of your life. It can cause medical complications, physical symptoms, and emotional symptoms.
Trauma focused therapy will help your brain realize you’ve survived the trauma and that it is no longer a threat. This will allow the ability for your mind and body to relax.
I am here to provide support and therapy to greatly reduce, if not prevent, the onset or continuation of the impacts from trauma.
-

Domestic & Intimate partner violence
Therapy for domestic violence can provide essential support by helping individuals process trauma, develop coping strategies, and break the cycle of abuse, while helping identify patterns of unhealthy behavior and promote healthier relationships in the future.
During our sessions I will provide a safe space to explore emotions, build self-esteem, and empower survivors to make informed decisions about your well-being.

Women's Health
Women navigate a wide range of unique psychological, emotional, and social experiences across the lifespan—and you don’t have to manage them alone. At Mind Matters, I provide specialized support tailored to women’s mental health, helping you make sense of what you’re going through and find ways to feel more grounded, supported, and empowered.
I work with concerns including reproductive and maternal health, perinatal and postpartum transitions, perinatal loss, PMDD, PCOS, and perimenopause/menopause. I also support women navigating ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, sexuality and pleasure, caregiver stress, trauma, relationship challenges, emotional and disordered eating, and identity development.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care, with attention to the broader cultural and systemic factors that shape women’s experiences. I strive to create a space that feels safe, affirming, and collaborative—where you can build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward greater emotional well-being and balance.
